I'm not entirely sure whether this is a Swedish or French square, probably the latter but there is something Frankish about that Church roof.
Either way a very jolly generic scene of a café that we have all found ourselves luxuriating in during one continental sojourn or another.
A fine painting in its original gilt and muslin vintage frame.
