A busy marina in style I can only describe as a blend of impressionism and Modernism. The foreshortened perspectives and disrupted proportions are all modernist but the isolated fishing smack returning to harbour on the horizon is all traditional Swedish marine painting.

The paint has been laid on with a JCB and although the canvas is original and in great condition, the craquelure on the paint is very evident and although it is sound - the paint is not going anywhere - it may put off some buyers not used to buying paintings of this age.
