This is a timed auction, with all bidding taking place via these online pages. There is no auctioneer. Each lot has its own scheduled end time (indicated next to each lot). If a bid is placed in the last few minutes before the lot end time, the clock will extend by two minutes to allow bidding to continue.

The best way to bid is to place the maximum you would be willing to spend and let the computer do the rest. If no one else places a bid, you will win the lot for the reserve. If other bids are placed, the system will raise your bid amount to the increment above the next highest bid, until your maximum bid is exceeded. This is called proxy bidding.
